Where there are no assets in common, you still have to determine how you will share the responsibility of raising your child(ren). In the state of Florida, Child Support is the right of the child.  Even if the parents agree, it cannot be waived.

Some people put off the divorce because they think that both spouses have to be present at the final hearing. That is not true. Yes, the process is different and takes a bit longer, but it is certainly possible. It does not matter how long you have been separated or if your spouse is abroad and have lost contact with him/her.
